The Sheraton Memphis Downtown is always very accommodating (*wink*) and helpful in providing large room blocks to house clubs and teams participating in tournaments in Memphis, TN. Enabling teams to stay together is key in ensuring a great team experience, as there are enough rooms available that many of the groups don’t need to be split between hotels.

Using the platform

The hospitality industry has been one of the hardest hit markets from COVID-19.  Recently, like many hotels throughout the world, the Sheraton Memphis Downtown was faced with needing to downsize its sales team. With fewer resources, it would mean the remaining staff needed to work outside their standard market segment. By providing the hotel with the EventConnect digital platform to manage its sports market, we could make this new challenge easier to overcome.
