From the warm and sunny beaches of San Diego comes our newest partner, Ice-Plex Escondido! A powerhouse facility located just 30 minutes from the coast with deep roots in ice sports in California.
Ice-Plex Escondido is San Diego’s largest ice skating facility with two Olympic sized ice rinks and professional coaching available on site. With such large skating surfaces available Ice-Plex has been able to capitalize on their space by including hockey, figure skating, ice theatre, skating schools, training camps, and free skate times to their schedules. Partnerships also include one of our other long-standing clients, the California State Games. On top of their regular scheduling, they also hold large hockey tournaments; the Thanksgiving Extravaganza and Stars & Stripes which can see up to 40 traveling teams with 8 divisions.
With such large amounts of traffic, Ice-Plex Escondido was having trouble managing the capacity of their growing business and needed a digital solution to help with accommodations, scheduling, and scoring. We were able to offer them efficient event management tools while continuing the relationships they’ve built with their preferred hotel suppliers over the years.
